woah that first outbreak, man! what a weird coincidence ! haha
Knock on wood, all I can say is knock on wood man.((Plays D&D and knows about terrible luck))
Nice play thorugh, thanx! To bad it is out of focus
At 3:00 you added a die to the CDC as part of the setup infection seed. During the setup, you have to reroll all infection dice with a cross result, so that all dice are placed on regions.
I love your videos, but your grasp of probability needs improvement 🙂 I am putting this game on my wishlist.
"America's fine so what's the problem, Jack?" lololol
The chances of getting 5 out of the 10 dice to be biohazard's the first round was 1/7776. Knowing my history with dice, I'd also get that 1/7776 every playthrough haha.
6:42 — It may be improbable, but not impossible. The simple fact that it happened shows it is possible.
Youre the third person I've heard of getting a french specialist card mixed in.
Thanks @rahdo, I appreciate the work you do with these runthroughs. Keep up the good work.
To keep Princess Bride themes going…. "Killed by diseases is good!"
Enjoy your channel Richard because your moderate ADD is like mine and love how you talk yourself through your turns. Would love it if you could do a tabletop style play through (with the interviews) with Jen… Surely you're enough of a salesperson to make that happen!
think this is a way better game than reg pandemic when dealing with alpha gamers.
Note that during setup, any crosses rolled should be rerolled until all the dice show a number.
@17:24 why is there a black "5" die mixed together with other three "6" dice (2 red, 1 blue)?
@ 3:07 if during setup you roll a cross, do you re-roll all 12 dice or only the that one die with a cross?
Enjoy your videos. LOVE how you sound JUST like Jeff Goldblum. 😀
How come you started the outbreaks at 1?
I got this game on the way. Played the regular Pandemic; this looks promising! Can't wait to play it with my family.
Nice. I got a french Medic.
This game is very easy to play. Original pandemic is harder. This is a good inbetween game or for casual players. Although this game says 2-5 players you can play it solo. All you have to do is control 2 or more chatacters.
Is this better than normal base game Pandemic? In onther words: What I should buy: this or normal Pandemic?
Chance of rolling a single 6 with 5 dice4,651 / 7,77659.81 %
Chance of not rolling a single 6 with 5 dice3,125 / 7,77640.19 %
"Impossible". You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
You sound like a much calmer version of Markiplier. Your voices are so similar.
The cross dice in the setup should been rerolled not moved to the CDC, any outbreak or cross rolled in the setup is rerolled.
19:12 THIS IS PANDEMICwhat do you expect from THIS game?!
Hey can you do a video on experiment meds the expansion for the cure ???
If you have a sample jar and no dice to sample can you store the jar and use it for later or do you have to re roll on your next turn???
Superb run through and easy to follow your instructions. Also appreciate your sense of humor, my wife and I laughed a little more then we probably should have.
OMG! Those are the unluckiest dice rolls I've ever seen! :OPromise me you'll never go to Las Vegas, Radho xD
you played so badly wrong. Even just the start was wrong. RTFM as they say..read the f-ing manual.
"This black is dangerous."– Rahdo, 2014 (13:07)
022 "Although, as always, my wife will not be joining us physically, but she's here in spirit"
Plot twist: his wife Jen doesn't exist, and she's just a figment of his imagination to keep his crushing loneliness from driving him to suicide.
18:30 "There is no way she can roll a biohazard (…) we already rolled 4 biohazards, there's no way she's gonna roll it again (…)"
Here's a little secret about probability: future events are entirely independent of past ones (unless the situation is purposefully set up in such a way to make them dependent).
I mostly play the game with three or four characters and never beat it with two.
Don't know if it's been mentioned, but the space in the center of the circle is called the "Treatment Center."
Kudos to the designers for recognizing that America should be assigned #1.
What the wat. LOL!
OK watched your Pandemic Rapid Response runthrough… same question; which do you prefer and why?
