  • I can’t believe I did that!!! And oh man was I paying for it all afternoon! Have you ever done that? Accidentally taken the wrong meds at the wrong time? I’m thankful it wasn’t a dangerous mistake!!

  • 5:02 Peter, you're still lucky your hair is still so thick, even though that annoys you of course. That's great to not have too thin hair, lol! :)<

  • Elizabeth Jennifer says:

My daughter was taking Benadryl for an allergy not too long ago, and refused to take it during the day because of school work that needed to be done

  • 7:42 I LOVE cool doors Peter! And even though I haven't watched these all the way through yet, I searched these two great videos for you. Hope you like them! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yt-Nm2iextw ….and 🙂 … https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pu8fAOMqlmw

  • Question when you guys put up Nativity up, do you put your kings by it right away? Since the kings didn't arrive until two weeks later. Just wondering I have a priest in Ohio that wouldn't put them at a manger until the feast of Epiphany.

  • I took my night meds at work one day-made for a sleepy afternoon. I also started brushing my teeth one morning with ‘roid cream. Oh boy……..

  • ReineDeLaSeine14 says:

I did that…and I had an appointment. The driver couldn't wake me up and I take some very sedating meds so it was kind of a problem especially as a wheelchair user

  • I haven't taken the wrong pills but I've accidentally given my dog's chemo pills to the wrong dog. That sucks because 1) the pills are expensive, 2) the dog with cancer only gets prescribed the exact number of drugs for his treatment period, and 3) the dog that grabbed the pill has immune-mediated disease and is reactive to many things. However, it turned out okay. We've since lost our boy to cancer, but my girl is all good. That's when you want to rewind 2 seconds to get those pills back before they were swallowed.

  • I did that a few times myself, I told the morning pills in the afternoon pills. I take pills for depression. You are not alone, we are all human. Love you and Peter and Ollie too. 💜💙🐶

  • That sounds very much like something I would do!! Glad you were able to stay awake for the most part though… I love your Christmas leggings! Have a safe trip coming up…

  • I've done that too! LOL! It's always a big time bummer! Even better is taking morning pills at night and wondering why you can't sleep. lol

  • I have done that. Took my daytime pills at night. Had to go the whole next day without my anti anixiety pills. Was a rough day !

  • I know what a "bad sleep" is. I have to take a nap every afternoon. I don't really LIKE having to, but I'm so tired… and it's good for me the doctor says. BUT…I'll often have this dream or feeling, that "I need to WAKE UP NOW, WAKE UP NOW!!" because I don't want to sleep so much I miss too much of my day. I hate those "WAKE UP" sleep feelings.

  • Samantha Crowley says:

Happens to the best of us but my meds r liquid so if I realize it before I swallow it and I spit it out and take a modified dose and the annoying thing that will happen if I'm too tired I will add water to meds that don't need it but mostly it is fine

  • You made me thankful tonight. When you were talking about having no needle in your chest while doing your vest. Right now my family is going through something that is hard but necessary after hurricane Harvey. You made me think of how hard things are annoying and painful and sometimes you may feel like they will never come to an end but they will. There is a season for everything. There is a light at the end of the tunnel no matter how dark it seems.and when the end comes we need to remember how thankful we are for the freedom. Thank you for that reminder

  • So glad that your day turned around after taking the wrong medications. Rest up and have a great trip! Love and hugs to you all from Florida! Take care!

  • Oh, Mary! I have the plastic, hand painted Mary, Joseph, and baby Jesus! Those are my very favorite Christmas decorations and I love placing them on our table full of nativity scenes. None of them seem to be complete…😂Maybe someday I’ll get the rest of the collection! I hope you have a great time on your adventure! Love you, Peter, and Ollie boy!

  • I just got diagnosed with gastroparesis. I have to do a more extensive scans Wednesday. It is to determine if I need a feeding tube. Your videos have helped me a lot to get through my pain and have helped eased my fears.

  • Taylor Schillinger says:

I love watching your vlogs everyday. Every year for Christmas we put up our fontanini nativity! I love the look of them. I noticed that we have some of the same pieces the sheep, cow, Mary, the kneeling Shepard, the Gloria angel, and Jesus.

  • Could one of the pills you take just in the morning be affecting your blood sugar? You have been having so much issues with it recently except for today when you took the wrong medication. Interesting

  • I have done that too! Taken night meds during the day😂😂, couldn’t go anywhere but to sleep 😴! I just roll with the punches 👊🏻 Lol 😆!!!! Sometimes you just gotta laugh 😂

  • I switched my magnesium with my melatonin once; they looked the same.

It was afternoon before I realized WHY I was so tired all day.

  • I am new to the channel newest subscriber I wanted to know what the vibrating vest does for you I've never seen anything like that

  • I saw your fun Christmas leggings!!! My mom noticed my leggings obsession and she got me a fun new pair for Hanukkah!!! Just opened them tonight after managing two parties in a row!

  • i love that you appreciate cool doors! cool sinks are my jam – ones that are at odd angles, or made of giant seashells, or the water drains out in a pretty pattern in the grooves… beautiful!!!

  • Peter, Santa should make some sunshine and moon stickers for Mary to use for quick and easy visual identification of combblers.

  • Chronically Angel says:

Mary, I have done that before I thought I took my morning medications but I took my nighttime medications and ended up sleeping half the day I was like why did I do that but you are right thankfully it wasn’t dangerous mistake

  • Mary- I have screwed up when taking my medicine once! I took my night pill in the morning!
Peter- I love wearing my bath robe, especially after a nice shower!

  • TheLHShowChannel says:

I'm confused. Is this Mary's channel? Cause most of the videos on this channel are about her life, and Peter has his own channel…

  • You can buy dog coffee. They come in little packets and you mix it in with water using a bar mix or blender. Puppichino. You can also get the same with doggy beer and sports drink.

  • I’ve done that EXACT thing twice before. The same way too after filling up the planner. 🙂 AND I’M A PHARMD. Glad it wasn’t dangerous for you. <3

  • PETER, YES! Bath robes drive me crazy. They are so thick, cumbersome, bulky and the sleeves are always droopy and get caught on things (or for me they do!). I can understand how people like to be cozy, but I'd rather wear a cardigan or sweatshirt instead. Every robe I've ever had was given as a gift. People see that you don't have one and (kindly) think "I'll get her a robe, she doesn't have a nice, big, thick, cozy one". Yes… that is true, I do not own one. On purpose, haha!  I have one now that I honestly can say I don't think has ever even been washed. Not because I'm a dirty person, but because it's only been on my body a 1/2 dozen times for a few minutes at a time!

I hope you guys are having a great get-away. Looking forward to today's video to see where you went and what you are up to! I've not heard if your plans for the holidays include visiting either of your families? We have a quiet one this year with just my daughter, myself and my parents. My pain has been over the top lately to the point where I have NO Christmas shopping done as of yet. I keep waiting for a day when I feel up to it. One of these days, very soon, I'm going to have to just bite the bullet and go do it anyways. Another problem is I have no idea what to get anyone!  Wish me luck!  xoxox Heather🇨🇦

  • You are both just heaven sent ! Thank you for you never failing good cheer and inspiration…I can't imagine your struggle with CF, but I surely empathize with chronic pain….the trick is to rise above it and let the pain WIN ! You do it so well and inspire me to do the same…..love to you both at this blessed Christmas season ! God Bless !

  • Overcoming Frankie says:

Oh gosh there was ONE DAY I took my night meds in the morning and I had the exact reaction! I then went out to a playgroup I was helping run, feeling hungover and climbed into bed as soon as I got to bed 11am. I felt awful all day 😂

  • I have done that several times – some are the sales as morning so it's ok, some it doesn't matter (anytime), but others… Let's say 10 hr snore…

  • I have done the same thing and responded the same way!!! LOL hilarious- but dangerous – at least for me. UGHHH definitely thought of throwing them up, but also couldn't.

  • LMotion Productions says:

I loved Peter's bathrobe talk. Also, I have always wondered when Mary has a needle in her chest that if she can feel it. ( I hope that makes sense)

  • Aww…Mary I take Benadryl at night too ( different reasons ) ……Years ago, I accidentally took the wrong pills too. One of my DH's meds looked exactly like mine, and I accidentally swallowed his meds ( which had two blood pressure pills I don't take ). Being in the medical field, I knew what I had done was serious ( and wrong). Because we had kids in the house at the time ( this was years ago) I always had syrup of Ipecac in the medicine chest….and took some of that, and promptly threw up the pills !
I knew that I was still going to have to go to the ER….and then, I went back into the bathroom to get the little cup that I had with the pills in it that I vomited up…and my DH had FLUSHED them down the toilet ! Grrrrr……Oh, well, it was a fund time at the ER…..the Dr. there got really weird suddenly came into my exam room and closed the door behind him, and ASKED my DH to step out of the room(????) I really didn't know what was going on…..but when DH the Dr. said "You aren't trying to harm yourself ARE YOU ? " I started laughing so hard, the Dr. got mad…..I told him…."NO….come really ? I swallowed two pills that DH accidently flushed down the toilet."
So, with that comment he told me that I was going to have to drink some charcoal ….( yuk ! ) because my B/P was really low due to having swallowed the B/P ( I can't remember the name of the med now! )……Anyway, we ( DH & I ) had a good laugh over how horrible the ER Dr. was. To be sure, I'll bet he has seen patients that do things like that, to harm themselves…..but that's not me. Even though I have a chronic illness, I thank God for every day I am alive.
Just wanted to share that story…..My DH passed away in 2002….and I haven't thought about that day I took his meds by accident in a long, long time !
    Bless You both !

  • Yes, done it and it’s awful – can take a couple of days until you feel normal again. Worst was when I woke up in the morning and inadvertently took my night meds instead. My night meds knock me out, and it was a double effect cos I’d only just taken the previous night ones a few hours early. Slept off the day, and then the following night, I couldn’t sleep!

  • Hey girl – we all make mistakes – sometimes life gets in the way of our best laid plans! So take a rest, consider it a "good" mix up and have additional rest! Perhaps guided you in that "mistake" because he knows you need a few hours more of rest!

  • totally not alone, I have epilepsy so I have to take medicine in the morning and at night. well I was at a friends house for a girls night sleepover and I knew I had to take medications early if I wanted to drink well I took them but then realized oh crap those were my morning pills

  • Chronically Cassidy says:

I’ve accidentally forgotten to take important seizure meds and realized hours later. So important that Sonoma gets them for me or I would be so lost!

  • I have done that. Thankfully most of the stuff I take in the morning I can take at night if I absolutely need to, but it still sucks. Because it did make me a little drowsy. Love your Vlog and Ollie is really adorable.

  • Omg a docter who had NO IDEA WHAT CF WAS DID THIS BEFORE. He took all the medicine.that goes into the nebulizer, PUT THEM TOGETHER and let me breath it. I couldn't breath… Rough times.

  • LuckyDuck Canuck says:

I did that over and over again so I get you.  I once accidentally took my night time meds just before church while on vacation.  I fought it, but felt pretty awful.  It was very difficult trying to be friendly and conversational with the brethren while feeling the heavy fog!

  • I've had 2 heart attacks and take a lot pills everyday. I accidently took them twice and had to throw them up! No fun! Lol

  • I also take melatonin because of ADHD and I accidentally took one a few weeks ago before school and I couldn't go to school that day.😂

  • Mary and Peter, in so many ways I understand your journey. I am both a retired respiratory therapist and pastor. Additionally, and ironically I had to retire early due to asthma and COPD. When breathing is a problem each day presents its' own unique challenge. While my breathing problems are not as difficult to manage as yours, Mary, I still understand those days when all you do is cough and stress about getting over this current episode of SOB. Mary, often people don't realize how complex CF is. You do a great job of communicating that it is, in fact, a constellation of health issues, not easily treated. Just so you know, when you have a coughing fit I feel every one of those coughs. Peter, I certainly understand the challenges of pastoring a church and finding something unique and inspiring to say each and every Sunday. My homiletics professor said that each of us only have about seven or eight sermons in us and the rest are just variations on a theme. Just as a suggestion I refer you to Fred Craddock sermons, on the internet. He was the great inspiration for pastors in my denomination …Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). I noticed, in a video, that you have a photo of Bonhoeffer. The Cost of Discipleship is one of the greatest theological works of the 20th century. Good on ya for him being your inspiration.
I pray for you both. And I do not use that statement lightly. It's too often a throw away statement. When I say it, I mean it. God be with you.

Polar Express is my favourite Christmas movie! I've also taken my meds at the wrong time before and accidentally took a Zopiclone thinking it was my nausea meds. That was a loooooong day at work trying to stay awake!

  • They've found that long term use of Benedryl (usually as a sleeping aid) can lead to dementia or Alzheimer's. You might want to try l-theanine, Valerian, passionflower, ect… Of course, checking for interactions.
Love you videos! The two of you are the absolute cutest, sweetest couple!
